	Wow what a year! I am not sure about you but I will be happy to see 2020 go. This year has been an experience for all of us. In this edition, you will see our new UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Groundbreaking article. We are excited about our new office and auditorium coming in 2021. If you have been by the Alachua County Agriculture & Equestrian Center in Newberry lately, you will see the dirt is moving! I want to personally thank the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners for all of their support in this project. That’s right! Our beloved holiday plant is what is considered a hemiparasite. Although mistletoe can photosynthesize and create energy, it relies on its host plant for water and nutrient uptake.
