License

The Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance Workshop trains commercial landscape maintenance personnel to make correct pesticide applications to ornamentals and plant beds only. Attendance to the full day is required before sitting for the license’s exam. Exams will not be offered after the class.

Exam

To test, you must get a voucher number at https://aesecomm.freshfromflorida.com and make an appointment at https://pesticideexam.ifas.ufl.edu/ (or email your local county extension office). Study guides are NOT provided, but can be pre-ordered by visiting www.ifasbooks.com. It is recommended that attendees study prior to attending the workshop as this is a REVIEW.  Books required are: SM 1, SP 499 and SM 82.

Continued Education Units

Up to six (6) CEU’s will be available in the following categories: General Standard/Core, Ornamental & Turf, Limited Lawn & Ornamental, Limited Landscape Maintenance, Limited Urban Fertilizer, Commercial Lawn & Ornamental. Individuals seeking recertification may attend the class for 4 hours if pre-registered on Eventbrite.

Registration and class details

The registration fee is $30.00 per person for full day (includes lunch) or $15.00 (no lunch) for half a day and is available through Eventbrite at https://tinyurl.com/yy4p8k7f.  Please pre-register by September 11^th. A late fee of $10.00 will be applied for registrations after September 11^th or if paying at the door. There will be no refunds for the registration fee.

This event is limited to 13 participants. Please practice social distancing during this event. Masks are required while indoors.
